Community

Humans were not meant to live alone. We, therefore, encourage all at NHBC to live in and invest in community.

World

Christians are not meant to keep Jesus to themselves. Our goal is to equip and challenge NHBC to make disciples. 

Meet our pastor

Kevin Steele

Originally from San Diego, California, Kevin has lived in the Augusta area since 1996.  He has served as the Senior Pastor at National Hills Baptist Church in Augusta, GA since 2003. Kevin earned his Bachelor's degree from Liberty University, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Mary Anne have been married for over 30 years and have 5 children and a chocolate lab.    He has traveled and taught extensively throughout the world and enjoys snorkeling, golfing, reading, and playing the guitar.

IT'S NOT HIGH SCHOOL ANYMORE, IT MAY NOT EVEN BE COLLEGE,
BUT IT'S AS HARD AS EVER TO KNOW WHERE YOU BELONG.
WE GET THAT!

​We are a small group of young adults, trying to find our way through life and relationships, and in much need of God's grace. If you need a place to belong would you consider joining us for one our events or service times?
